The influence of Rock in Society

Our first approach to the subject arose thanks to our musical taste. We like to enjoy rock music from many eras, and because of this we were curious to know and share how rock music has influenced society through the decades. Our research was exhaustive, and we looked for singers and bands that influenced people anthropologically and ideologically. We also discovered how it impacted fashion and musical advancements.  Rock was definitely like a revolution!!. These singers went beyond just making music pleasing to the ears, they conveyed strong messages that make us think and think again as a society.  Therefore, rock is situated as one of the first musical movements to become aware of the problems, injustices, and needs of the planet. From rock's early beginnings, it has been associated with rebellion, considered to be against social and political norms. Rock and roll rejected adult-dominated culture, consumerism and conformity, and punk rejected all forms of social convention....

  Almost everyone would say that music has impact their lives in some way... We believe that music can shape you in a number of ways, it can influence your way of dressing, your attitude towards people, your likes,  the way you speak, and even more important your way of thinking... Mainly, we would say that it  can reveal a whole new world to us, It can explain many difficult situations that we deal with, It can show a way of protest again the unfair, violent, awful acts committed by humankind, It gave a feeling of hope for a better world.  We feel it is important to highlight how rock music can impact a person's life in a positive way because throughout history rock music has been a stigmatised genre; it has been associated with Satanism, violence and corruption of youth. The importance and popularism of rock lies in the positive influence it had in society in its peak, so I have a few interesting answers for this question just so you can realize about these positive aspects.  In the boom era of Rock this genre turned into a symbol to represent a collective identity, generating a political and cultural structure, becoming a symbol of rebellion, which allowed young people to group together to express themselves.  It also influenced in political and social changes, for example, racism.
